Link to Article

The Dutch marines decided to sidestep EU bureaucracy and take back a ship from a band of Somali pirates in a daring yet triumphant raid on a captured German freighter. In an effort to cut short the efforts of Somali pirates, who have stepped up their raids on international ships, a Dutch naval captain decided to take action instead of talk, and as a result, the ship and its 15 man crew is are back in their home port, and 10 Somalis pirates have been taken captive and are in custody.
The captured pirates will likely be turned over to German or Dutch officials for a piracy trial, reports AP.
