CNN: Pirates seize Greek ship off Seychelles

Suspected Somali pirates hijacked a Greek-owned bulk carrier Wednesday with 22 crew members aboard, according to the European Union's Naval Force for Somalia.

Bloomberg: Somali Pirates Attack, Board Thai Vessel, EU Naval Force Says

Somali pirates in two skiffs attacked and then boarded a Thai-flagged fishing vessel, the Thai Union 3, north of Seychelles and off the coast of Somalia, the European Union Naval Force said.

AFP: Somali pirates holding British couple

Somali pirates confirmed Wednesday they had hijacked a yacht carrying a British couple thought to be Paul Chandler, 58, and his wife Rachel, 55, adding that the two hostages were in good health.

CNN: French military fends off Somalia pirate attack

The French military fended off a pirate attack on two fishing boats, hundreds of miles off the coast of east Africa, a French Defense Ministry spokesman said Tuesday.
